As the industry moves more toward muscle to bone ratio, U4 could help lead the way. This powerful donor dam was one of the top-selling females in the 2001 CES Polled Hereford sale at $6,000, where we purchased her along with Spinglake Farm and Grandview Plantation. In that same sale, Seven Oaks and Grandview, Triple H went together to give $5,500 for a daughter of U4 sired by CES Victor X101 W373.
As a yearling, U4 had actual ultrasound carcass data of: age 410 days, weight 910 pounds, REA 9.94, REA/CWT 1.09, BF 0.24, and IM 3.84.
The dam of U4, JLH Victoria 629 231 is without a doubt one of the greatest daughters ever of 629.
In our 2002 Picnic Sale, a daughter of U4 was the top-selling heifer calf at $4,000, going to JWR Land and Cattle Company, Dallas, Gerogia, and the right to flush U4 commanded a price of $4,500, going to CES and Powerline Polled Herefords.
